CC-1 Boiler Erosion-Resisting Ceramic Coating

一、Characteristics

    A ceramics identity coating with low-temperature cementing, high temperature ceramics characteristics. High hardness, well resistance to abrasion, and with greater combining strength.  No coating off which because of expands with heat and contracts with cold.

二、Uses
   
   This coating is mainly used for the resistance of high temperature wear of economizer, re-heater, superheater, water screen tube’s heated face pipes of coal-fired power plant.Also available for the chemical industry, petroleum industry, metallurgical industry’s equipments which need high-temperature antichafes.

四、Construction techniques

 

  (1).  The working surface to be sprayed must be cleaned up completely by using 14 eye emery which under the pressing of 0.6-0.8Mpa compressed air. The working surface’s smoothness must reach Sa2-Sa3 after spraying sand. If the working surface’s oxide skin is thick, we can use Mechanical polish manner to wipe off the ashes and oxides, then sandblasting.

   (2).  The A, B group of ceramic paint must be mixed evenly at 1:1 ratio (Appropriate adjustments based on different temperature), to reduce to thin pulp, If there are particles in paint, we have to filter it by a screen cloth.

  (3). 0.4-0.6Mpa compressed air as the gas source, spraying the ceramic paint to the working surface by a tailor-made cold spraying gun. 2-3 times for spraying, 0.2~0.3 mm thick each time, 3-5 hours solidification is necessary before next brushing,.

   (4). The ceramic coating must be uniformity, no pressure, air bubble, crack, crusting, cockle, disengage, and other phenomena. Generally, the coating’s thickness is 0.5-0.8mm, and it can make appropriate adjustments according to actual needs.

  (5). Before using, the last layer must be solidified about 24-48 hours. Notice that the layers can not be drenched, Ventilation, stepped on and vibrated within curing period. In order to increase the useful life of the coating, we should reduce flushing water during the follow-up process of the use.
